Care services covered by health insurance
Care services are covered by mandatory health insurance. As a patient, you only pay the legally required personal contribution, the so-called patient contribution.
Assessment and counselling
Professional counselling and individual assessment of your care needs.
Treatment care
Medical examinations and professional treatment by qualified staff.
Basic care
Help with personal hygiene and dressing with professional support.

Patient contribution
Regardless of the number or duration of visits, your statutory personal contribution is CHF 7.65 per day on which a care service is provided.
Billing units
The first billing step is 10 minutes. Thereafter, billing is in 5-minute increments.
Cost coverage
The remaining costs are borne by the health insurer and your municipality of residence. With supplementary benefits, AHV additionally covers CHF 7.65 per day.
We handle the paperwork!
We bill the health insurer directly and support you free of charge with all administrative matters related to Spitex, such as applications for supplementary benefits or helplessness allowances, as well as communication with authorities and insurers, to take bureaucracy off your hands and make everyday life easier.
Household services and everyday help
Household services or help with everyday living are generally not covered by basic insurance. In many cases, however, they can be financed through supplementary insurance or privately.

Services covered by health insurance
Services such as counselling and assessment, treatment care such as medication administration or wound care, as well as basic care such as support with personal hygiene or dressing are covered by your health insurer under mandatory basic insurance.
Additional services such as household help, shopping or general everyday assistance may also be covered by supplementary insurance, depending on your policy.
